AZ Central has posted a review and photos of Katy Perry’s “Witness: The Tour” stop in Glendale, AZ.

She returned for a one-song encore, a slow-burning “Firework” that was somehow even more dramatic than the single, the star performing on a giant outstretched hand.

It’s emerged as a bit of a signature song – for Perry and her KatyCats.

“‘Cause baby you’re a firework / Come on show ’em what your worth / Make ’em go ‘Oh, oh, oh!’ As you shoot across the sky-y-y.”

And the kind of connection she makes in those moments may be why it doesn’t matter whether “Witness” sent as many singles up the pop charts as the singer may have liked. For all the spectacle for which she’s known and all those multi-platinum hits she squeezed into her set, those fans are there because she’s Katy Perry and there’s no one else quite like her.
